Other Provinces, Azad Jamu Kashmir, FATA, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) & GILGIT BALTISTAN

The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) has allocated special scholarship quotas for meritorious and deserving students of other provinces, AJK, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan & Islamabad Capital Territory. These scholarships are awarded to pass outs of public sector institutions to pursue Intermediate and Graduation level education in their respective province or any other educational institution of Pakistan. The level wise allocation is as follows:

Scholarship Allocation

These scholarships are awarded for Intermediate and Graduation level education only;
>> 60% scholarships are allocated for Intermediate level education.
>> 40% are earmarked for Graduation level education.

Eligibility Criteria for Intermediate & Graduation Level Scholarships

  • The provincial / territory / domicile
  • Passed Matriculation or Intermediate Examination held by the respective Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in 2016(Annual)
  • Not availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year
  • Passed these examination from Government School / College
  • Secured at least 60% marks in the above mentioned examination
  • Secured admission in a regular educational institution as a full time student in the current academic year (2015 - 2016)
  • Monthly income of parents (from all sources) of Rs. 15,000/- or less
  • Not availing any other educational scholarship during the respective academic year
  • For Special Quota Scholarships, the student must fall in at least one of the S.Q categories
    i. Orphan Children
    ii. Children of government servants in BPS 1 - 4
    iii. Children belonging to minority religion
    iv. Special Children

Technical Education Scholarships for Students of Balochistan

The PEEF has allocated 30 Scholarships for district toper of DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) to purse graduation level Education in institution of Balochistan and / or Punjab

Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) Examination conduct by BISE Quetta 2016 (Annual)
  • Secured at least 60% marks in the above mentioned examination
  • Secured admission in a regular educational institution as a full time student in the same year as of passing the examination
  • The Prospective student may get enrolled in undergraduation / diploma / certification program in Balochistan OR
  • Scholarships may also be awarded to students of Balochistan who are enrolled on TEVTA / Punjab administrated institutions in undergraduation / diploma / certification program
  • Monthly income of parents (from all sources) of Rs. 15,000/- or less
  • Not availing any other educational scholarship during the respective academic year
Note: The Children of government employees in BPS 1 - 4 are exempted from income limit criteria if salary is the only source of income

Master Level Scholarships for Students of Balochistan

The PEEF has allocated 30 Scholarships for district toper of Master's Level education for students studying in public sector universities of Balochistan graduation level Education in institution of Balochistan

Eligibility Criteria

in order to be eligible for PEEF scholarships; a student must have:

  • Balochistan Domicile
  • Secured at least 60% marks Secured at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in BA/BSc./B.Com./BS/BBA etc.     annual examination held in 2014/2015/2016 Annual.
  • Secured admission as a full time student in the cuurent acadamic / degree year (2016-2017) in a public sector university of Balochistan
  • The prospective student, besides fulfilling PEEF eligibility criteria, must qualify the merit and need criteria of the respective University.
  • Monthly income of parents (from all sources) of Rs. 30,000/- or less
  • Not availing any other educational scholarship for master level Studies
Note: The Children of government employees in BPS 1 - 4 are exempted from income limit criteria if salary is the only source of income
Note:

Following students are not eligible for PEEF Masters level Scholarship:

  • Students who have already passed / possessed M.A / M.Sc / M.S / M.PHIL etc. degree
  • Marks improvers or students who have passed examination in supplementary session
  • Students who have passed the aforementioned examination with grace marks (*)

Master Level Scholarships for Students Having FATA Domicile

The PEEF has allocated 15 Additional Scholarships for d Master's Level education for students haing FATA domicile studying in public sector universities of Balochistan graduation level Education in institution of Balochistan

Eligibility Criteria

in order to be eligible for PEEF scholarships; a student must have:

  • FATA Domicile
  • Secured at least 60% marks Secured at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in BA/BSc./B.Com./BS/BBA etc.     annual examination held in 2014/2015/2016 Annual.
  • Secured admission as a full time student in the cuurent acadamic / degree year (2016-2017) in a public sector university of Pakistan
  • The prospective student, besides fulfilling PEEF eligibility criteria, must qualify the merit and need criteria of the respective University/ Degree Awarding Institution.
  • Monthly income of parents (from all sources) of Rs. 30,000/- or less
  • Not availing any other educational scholarship for master level Studies

Selection Process

  • The office of the provincial / territory Secretary Education acts as Focal office for the identification and selection of students for PEEF scholarships
  • The Focal Office advertises PEEF scholarships in national & local dailies for identification of meritorious and deserving students
  • The applications are invited on prescribed PEEF scholarship application forms
  • All the received applications are scrutinized and assessed on merit
  • The meritorious and deserving students are awarded PEEF scholarships
